"Dead butt syndrome" is a syndrome that is "living without knowing how to use the hip." The hip muscles play an important role in supporting the spine, and if the buttocks fail to function, the back is bent because it cannot properly support the waist. The pelvis attached to the obtuse muscle (hip muscle) is also twisted and the mobility of the legs is reduced, which is affected by daily life.
Most students and office workers have hip amnesia. That's because, due to the nature of the work, they spend a long time sitting in a chair. If you don't exercise regularly, your dull muscles become stiff and your senses become dull, and you eventually develop amnesia.
Exercises using hip muscles make positive changes. First of all, there is a sense of security in the body. People can feel how their hip is firmly supporting the spine; people can also sense their balance becoming better than before.
It also had a great effect on the functionality of the body. As the dull muscles came back to life, the flexibility of the hamstring and hip joints can be strengthened, especially when squatting at the posture was more stable.
In the long run, hip muscles are also said to be related to lifespan. It is said that the more muscle is trained, the more muscle cells absorb sugar and effectively control blood sugar levels, reducing the incidence of diabetes by about 90%, and reducing the incidence of heart disease and cancer by about 20%. The hip muscles are large enough to make up about 30 percent of the muscles in our body. It can be said that doing hip exercises is more effective to increase muscle mass.
The most recommended exercise to build hip muscles is hip-thrust. This is because it is easy to handle high weights using a barbell, so it is best to grow dull muscles quickly and effectively. You can lean your back on the bench and lift your hips, and beginners can do it with their bare bodies; if you have athletic experience, you can use the barbell as shown in the picture. If you can't afford to go to the gym, you can use the sofa in the living room.
If you don't usually have time to exercise or feel pressured to go to the gym, walking with strength in your hips can be a good way. At first, even if it is somewhat difficult to adapt, we have to try consciously.
Many people think exercise is boring. That's because there are no immediate results, but only if they are consistent in the long run. Yet, as exercise has intimate relationships with our health and life, we should try to strengthen our muscles—especially hip muscles.
