Hongseong-gun (Governor Kim Seok-hwan) and Hongseong-gun Sustainable Development Council (Chairman Lee Sang-woo) will conduct a "fine dust campaign" to encourage participation in reducing fine dust in daily life.
The Fine Dust Campaign, which will be held on the 24th and 25th, will be held in front of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation in Hongseong-eup (24th) and the parking lot of Naepo Central Shopping Center (25th), and if you bring milk packs collected at home, they will be exchanged for air purification plants.
Organized by Hongseong-gun and hosted by Hongseong-gun Sustainable Development Council, the campaign guides the green life practice pledge ceremony and how to act in the event of high concentrations of fine dust, and actively promotes ways to reduce fine dust that the county residents can practice in their lives.
A county official said, "It is time to pay attention and actively participate in protecting the clean environment of Green City Hongseong," adding, "We ask for your active cooperation in practicing lifestyle habits that can reduce fine dust, such as not operating fifth-class vehicles and banning illegal incineration."
Meanwhile, Hongseong-gun is receiving applications for support for old diesel vehicles, attachment of smoke reduction devices, and purchase of new LPG trucks by the 25th to create Green City Hongseong without worrying about fine dust, and is promoting projects to distribute eco-friendly vehicles such as electric and hydrogen cars.
