A plane bound for Honolulu, Hawaii, was hit by turbulence, damaging some of the cabin's ceiling and injuring passengers.

The aircraft took off from Phoenix, Arizona, with 278 passengers and 10 crew members, and landed at its destination at around 10:50 a.m. after passing through turbulence. Paramedics waiting in advance at the airport transported the injured person to a hospital shortly after landing the plane.
