According to an article titled "I doubt whether it is possible to recognize and compensate for side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine," posted on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin on the 10th, it was alleged that a man in his 20s, who had no underlying disease, was hospitalized in the intensive care unit with ulnar symptoms after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The petitioner explained that his cousin, who works at a medical institution, was taken to the emergency room after showing symptoms of vomiting and fever about 10 times from the evening of the 4th to the dawn of the next day, and was transferred to the intensive care unit on the 5th.
The petitioner said at the time that the medical institution was "distraught and 70-80% of severe muscle abnormalities are worsening, so it is inevitable to think of them as side effects of the immune system," adding, "Medically, the disease is suspected in the brain or spinal cord."

However, on the 6th, the professor in charge said, "He firmly denied the causal relationship with the COVID-19 vaccine, saying, 'He has a disease in his spinal cord, but there is a high possibility of having the disease from before."
The petitioner said, "In the general hospital room on the 7th, my cousin was unable to walk because his legs were weak, and he complained of high fever, vomiting, and confusion from the afternoon of the day," adding, "Even in various re-examinations, the hospital found that it was a symptom of existing lumbar disc unrelated to the vaccine."
The petitioner then asked the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's call center, but he also said, "Vaccination is an option (individual), and since there is nothing that can help with the problem, I was irresponsiblely guided to solve it with the hospital."
He complained, "How likely is it that a healthy man in his mid-20s without an underlying disease will develop ulnar syndrome by a wonderful coincidence after COVID-19 vaccination?"
In response, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a reference, "The symptoms that appeared on the same day after vaccination on the 4th became worse, and on the 5th, the medical institution that reported (abnormal reaction) did not see much relevance to vaccination."
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, "Since then, an on-site epidemiological investigation has been conducted on the 9th, and the city and provincial governments are evaluating the causality of vaccinations at future damage investigation meetings, and the damage compensation process will be carried out based on the results.
When the complainant asked, "How to prove the side effect if the hospital says it is not a side effect," he added, "The causal relationship between vaccination and the outbreak is in the hospital's medical team's judgment (in the hospital's medical team) and the health center (report)."
However, in this case, it is known that no application for compensation for damage to causality has been received yet.
