The Christmas gift kit is part of World Vision's "Morning Merkko" and "What Do You Eat on the Weekend" projects to present vulnerable children with a special end of the year. World Vision consists of a package of nutritional supplements such as lactobacillus and multivitamins, and products worth about 100,000 won per kit, including nutritional snacks and stationery.
The World Vision Christmas Gift Kit was delivered to a total of 3,054 people through 257 schools and 17 World Vision sites.
World Vision's "Morning Merkko" project helps students who skip breakfast and go to school to grow healthy and have a fun school life. The "What do you eat on the weekend" project delivers nutritious lunch boxes and prevents crisis situations through monitoring so that children who are difficult to receive meal care during the weekend can eat a balanced meal.
