Roses contain an antioxidant called polyphenol. Polyphenols can be effective in preventing aging by reducing active oxygen, a harmful substance in the body. It helps smooth blood circulation so that nutrients can reach the body's organs as well as the scalp and hair through the blood. It can improve seborrheic dermatitis in the scalp and suppress dandruff that can be caused by dermatitis to promote hair growth.
In particular, rose petals are rich in anthocyanin, a type of polyphenol.
Antocyanin is an ingredient that reacts in various ways depending on the acidity of the soil and determines the color of the petals to be red, purple, blue, or black. When absorbed into the body, it can purify waste in the blood and facilitate blood circulation. It also promotes collagen synthesis, helping to regenerate cells.
The food that uses roses as a food ingredient is not widely known in Korea. The easiest way to take it is to boil it in hot water and drink it as tea. If you boil three to four edible rose buds based on 200ml of water, you can enjoy both the fragrant scent and the nutrients of the rose.
