Text Information Verses Online Information

The advancement of science over these few decades created lots of new technologies that enriched people's quality of life. Among those technologies, electronic devices allowed people to easily look up some information in a comparatively short amount of time. While electronic devices might seem like it is convenient objects, I believe reading paper material is a much better way to gain information because it is more efficient and has better effects on health.

People should definitely consider reading paper material to gain information because it is more efficient. Being efficient, or able to store lots of information in the head in a short amount of time is important in order to save time and energy. One skill that enhances this efficiency is a note-taking skill. Note-taking allows people's brains to organize information and put it in long-term memory. Additionally, taking notes allow people to go back and search for the information any time they want, even in the long future. However, many people suffer from difficult ways of taking notes on electronic devices because it is different from pencil and paper, which are the objects that most people were initially familiar with. Paper materials are better to gain information because they provide much healthier habits. Electronic devices often emit lights, which is detrimental to human eyesight. Staring at the light easily makes the eyes tired and eventually, worsens the eyesight. Papers, on the other hand, do not emit light. Therefore, compared to electronic devices, they do not make eyes become tired. Paper do not give any stimulation to the eyes, which can help people to preserve their good eyesight and acquire the healthier habit.

Although electronic devices search up for information much quickly, because papers are efficient and healthier, reading paper materials to gain information is a much better choice.
